problems with guild wars
this morning everything was pretty much fine, a little lag nothing to bad, so i went on a different game for a bit came back recently and logged on made a pvp char logged in and im extremely laggy, extreme lag bursts, example is i start running and my guy slows down to a sudden stop and wont move and like 3 secs later speeds about the place to catch up, and when i lost a random arena match and it finished counting down to send me back to outpost it came up a network error has caused you to lose connection, or summit like that and i pressed yes to the reconnect and i dont remember the exact error that came up after that i just remember (error code=021)" i read up on that and said it might be hackers or keyloggers, im currently defragging doing what it said on the lag fix's on this site, and after going to run my anti virus scan, but any idea's why this is happening? i have changed my password aswell, and i tried another one to attempt to screenshot the exact second error but this time it came up something different, something like "cant find the mission you were trying to access" or something like that

Durron, it sounds like it might be indicative of corrupted files. Leading up to the message "the archive has been corrupted, GW is repairing it" many players report connection and graphical errors.
It may simply be best to -repair or -image now rather than wait for the message to appear in a weeks time. Reinstalling with a -image is also a good option.
If you are paranoid about keyloggers then you should do a complete scan of your system. Tbh though, until you get an error of "your email has been changed", or "your password has been changed" I wouldn't worry greatly.
Scanning for viruses and trojans is always a good idea though, you should be doing it once a week minimum.

Probably your ISP having a bad day. If you've checked and it has nothing to do with hardware or software (viruses) then just wait it out. If it's frequent and consistent then you might want to go complain to Verizion, AT&T or whomever your ISP is.

Holy crap, if you have an EotN disk or something, try that to make it less of a pain. I used -image on a clean install of EotN and only had to download about 5,500 files.

i deleted and uninstalled it, it was taking to long, and used my proph cd's to install it, hopefully that will get rid of some of the files needed to download
better cut 10k files out only 15k left
